These kits are stronger than the original in that the button is attached by pinning it to a shaft that is welded the same setup as our deluxe kit, rather than just being riveted to the bracket. This makes the kit stronger as well as giving you the option of changing the button out for the switch. The M14 FDS-STD kit consists of a modified sear release, welded to our special laser cut base, with the button affixed to the shaft with a pin and full connector arm as well as two mounting screws and washers that can be used for shims if necessary or desired. (Sorry Switch and spring not included)
